Location:

The town of Plainville is located in Eastern Ma. boarded by Wrentham on the north; Foxborough on the east; Mansfield on the southeast; North Attleboro on the south; and Cumberland, R.I. on the west.  Plainville is 28 miles north of Fall River, 31 miles southwest of Boston, 14 miles north of Providence, R.I. and 191 miles from New York City.
