CPC Provides a variety of supportive services for both parents and providers of Early Education and Care. Self Help Inc. CPC has a variety of highly experienced and qualified staff including Parent Support Specialists, Early Childhood Support Specialists, and Language and Literacy Specialist.

SHI/CPC provides assistance for families to afford childcare for their preschool aged children. Families must have a documented need for the childcare such as: employment, seeking employment, enrolled in approved education/training program, parent disability, housing search for homeless families, aged 65 or over and retired. Assistance is available at participating programs (center-based, public school, family childcare). Parent’s contribution to the childcare is based on the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) Parent Co-Payment Table. Income Eligibility is based on the Commonwealth of Massachusetts EEC Income Eligibility Table . Families income must be at or below 50% SMI to be eligible. Some families may be eligible at a higher income if they have certain EEC defined priority situations. All families interested in getting assistance must first be

placed on the EEC Centralized Waitlist.
